AN EVENTFUL 2 WEEKS
It has been a MINUTE since I wrote here and I won't bother writing about the months inbetween the last blog however I would like to write about my last 2 weeks because fucking hell.
The first week wasn't bad by the way! I went to Cardiff with my beautiful girlfriend, Izzy (as well as my parents but lets focus on Izzy because I love them so dearly). I really wanted to go to Cardiff because, if its not obvious from knowing me, my favourite TV show is Doctor Who and well Cardiff is where they film it. It was so fun being able to see the places where they filmed it and ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO BUY DOCTOR WHO MERCH THAT ISN'T JUST DVDS! I bought a lovely little fob watch that I believe is based off the Master's fob watch! We also went down to the Cardiff Bay to visit the location that they filmed both entrances to the Torchwood 3 base, which also meant visiting the Ianto shrine (you can't visit the bay without paying the shrine a visit). We actually went back to the shrine after buying the most gorgeous chips I've ever had to eat them by the shrine because well you have to.
Once we had returned from Cardiff, me and Izzy had planned to go see the new "A Minecraft Movie" and on the day of that I DISLOCATED MY KNEE. So haven't watched that one yet - top tip if you are going to dislocate your knee DON'T DO IT ON THE TOP DECK OF A BUS it's not fun. I've been stuck wearing a splint for my knee since then and I only get to take it off for bed - its not pleasant. I put it back on tonight so I could sit at the desk I have set up at my Grandparents (yeah I'm also at my Grandparents for Easter - I can't catch a break) but that is proving to be REALLY uncomfortable. When I'm at home at my desk it's fine but here, probably because I am sat on a dining room chair, it's really uncomfortable and is kind of digging into my skin - probably a sign to go to bed actually.
I will say after dislocating my knee they made me go to the hospital for an X-Ray and also to put me in a splint but they didn't tell me that until after and oh my days it was painful. NHS wait times are horrendous I was waiting for hours and was stuck around snotty children because I am 17. Although from what I hear the adults section is much worse so maybe it was for the best? I don't know. All I know is I was hungry and the children's waiting room didn't have anything barring a water cooler and my parents weren't letting me get any food from the vending machine outside as "what if they called my name" (spoiler alert they didn't). I did eventually wear them down and they got me a chocolate bar but still. Not fun.
So thats been my last 2 weeks. They have generally been quite fun and, dispite the knee and the honestly worse visit to the hospital, its been lovely. Me and my girlfriend got to hang out the other day and I didn't even need to meet them or get lunch, they just brought it to me it was great!! I've also been working on revamping my main portfolio (with creating a brand new home page) and touching up this website so that it's consistent with my main site's design and thats been really fun!
I'm going to go to bed now as it's 1am however I hope anyone who reads this has 7 years of good luck. Hopefully a less eventful Easter please.

HELLO!!!! This is my blog!
Hoping for this to be a nice little place for me to just kinda yap hahahah. Kinda like twitter just without it being twitter and all the other things that come with twitter. I like twitter sometimes! It's great for posting my art I mean I posted a poster about a very well disguised political message and got 12k likes which was quite nice - until someone pointed out I misspelled "fascists" - that was not nice. For the most part however, twitter is just horrible. Its full of transphobia and twats just all over the place and you're probably like "well why don't you just not use it?" and while I could be like "it's so I can keep posting my art" but that would be a lie. It's actually cos I'm a bit addicted but oh well.
I'm currently in the process of editing another Ovalshop video! It's another episode of the Conqueror SMP (Episode 3!) and I'm enjoying it! Not editing right now as I'm too tired to chop up footage - theres still a lot to chop and I'm still on the first clip. Granted the first clip is like 40 minutes and the longest of the other clips is like 13 minutes I think but still. Also I don't think thats true, I think I might have a longer clip that I just haven't uploaded to google drive - time will tell.
A lot has been on my mind recently, well actually it's been on my mind for years but only recently have I found an answer, and if you know me personally you might be able to guess what that is but it's not something I will be going into here, and so editing has been nice to get away from that I think. I find myself editing a lot as an escape and that I'm most productive on YouTube if I'm dealing with something - hence my recent activeness as I've been sad.
I built a lego set today! It's the Spider-Man Final Battle set (76261) and looks really cool!! I wanna get the sandman set that goes with it but that'll be at some other point. The set sits nicely on my bedside table and I love it oh so dearly. I've been eyeing it up since the beginning of 2024 and finally bit the bullet and bought it. Best impulse buy I think. I didn't realise they included the Peter Parker heads and hairs for each Spiderman but I love that they did! It's such a cute addition aaaaaahh I love minifigures so much and this set has so many!! I love all the details in the printing and just love everything so much!!!!!
Thats all its almost 2am as I finish this so I say goodnight all!!!
